Your thoughts on the past winner. or is that whiner?
To me HE continues to portray himself as arrogant and offensive, stereotypical of the common view of the French.
Yes, i do pass by his Twitter account daily, (only for him to portray to the world what a wonderful lonely life he has.) it is entertaining as is MX Large. often craving recognition and reasserting that he is indeed himself.
Although his attacks on Vital members that post "scoops" only for DV to retort "welcome to 3 weeks ago".sadden me and bring me to write this Topic.
Love him, laugh at him or hate him, your thoughts or fond memories on DV.......

BWAAHAAAHAAAHAAAA
I don't GAF what he posts,
I'm waaaaaaaaaay too busy for that.
..... how many pro races have you raced in again ?
It's nothing but opinion (opinion doesnt mean it's always right -it's ok to disagree).
But he does have a right to speak his mind, whether we agree or not.
I respect most of what he has done on and off the track throughout his career to this very day.
I also believe he's a very down to Earth nice guy.
He's one of the few riders of his caliber that doesn't have an ego - nor has he ever.
Not so fond memory.
The night he parked JT$ in Texas and bent his forks, when he didnt have to in the LCQ(last corner) was a pretty low/uncool move. JT$ & his Dad I believe just had bought the forks out of their own pockets.
But I also believe later that night after a pissing match on moto talk he offered to repay JT$ for the forks after everyone hammered on him for that move.
That is something to respect to a certain degree - him offering to pay for them - but I think Jason declined.
DV also said he did it for his sponsors when Jason flat out asked why he did that to him.
I never bought another BooKoo after that(Teams title sponsor).
My fond memories is how DV has treated the fans over the years.
He could be called the GOAT in his own right(Giving*est Of All Time).
I've seen him at the races go out of his way for the fans and also online do some very cool stuff for people (far more than most riders his caliber would do for the fans).
I've also seen him do some funny stuff, like the Screw Hammertime jersey.
And him giving Lucky shit on reality of speed was funny.
Loved that show when DV was on it.
In hindsight i could have not written the first few sentences of my topic, but what done is done.
After all i only "Say it how it is"
My advice to you is don't judge him just off the stuff you see him write online or for mags.
If you ever make it to a race and he's around,go talk to him.
He's actually a very nice guy, down to Earth with no ego.
I remember at his first race here in states in Seattle in the 125 class.
He was so humble and in awe walking around everyone just thought he was a fan before the races (even TFS thought that).
He went out and won the 125 main that night LOL.
Put back on his street clothes a sweater, jeans & ski jacket( I think) and walked around like a fan.
He didn't act like he was anything special.
I wonder which is saltier... Ocean water or you?
He got on Moto News and let me have it, been a fan ever since and met DV a few times at different races always been a nice guy to me.
If he bugs you best advice I can give is get over yourself.
Pit Row
Some think i'm a hater, contrary to that, i am a follower of his, Twitter and pulp, as i said it is his arrogance towards others that saddens me.
Calling him a has been, wanna be, is not the first time, DV himself has commented on me in the past, you don't need to defend him, He is DV!

Or metaphor.
Pretty sure it was a metaphor
His observations of the races on pulpmx are usually what I look forward to reading the most
