I had a few more pics taken at the local track before I rode it. Should have those in the next couple days. Thanks for the compliment.

Looks cool, can i ask why you chose a CR? You've done the impossible and polished a turd.

I have a CR250 which was a turd as well but it was turned into the fastest 250 I have ever ridden by Eric Gorr. I knew the CR125 was a turd but figured Gorr might be able to fix it. I can say that it runs really well for a CR and the motor is definitely way faster than it was stock. That being said my brother has a completely stock YZ125 that blows this thing away. I love the chassis and suspension on this bike as well as on the 250. I'm going to change gearing and jetting and see if I can get it to run better than it does now. Again it's not bad but I need to improve it more. If nothing else works I will prob get a 150 kit for it. Gorr did wonders to my CR250 and that bike is really fast. I had a 09 250 KTM that was light years better (engine wise) stock than my CR250, but after the motor got done on the CR it pretty much blew the KTM away. The KTM powerband was easier to ride though, but overall I like the CR better now than I ever liked the KTM.

Hoodi did an amazing job with everything. He's got my 250 as we speak so I'm pumped to see it when he gets done with it. He pretty much kills it with everything he does!

Here's my version...2005 CR125R, the most fun I've ever had on a bike.

Hand built by Scrappy/ Dynamic Engine Factory
A-Kit Suspension/Factory Connection
Motor by Jeff Springman
PC Pipe/Clamps
Coated Engine Parts
Ti bits and pieces
TCR Wheels
280mm Rotor
Renegade SX2 Fuel

Bought the bike for $1200 on Craigslist, it was completely roached.

Looks clean man. Love the stock look with the goodies added. I went a little over the top with mine to have some fun. Love the bike though super fun to ride. Definitely makes you work if you want to go fast on it.

I agree, they didn't have one in stock so got a yellow one. Definitely want to change it to red in the future.

I figured there was a reason for it. Just wanted to give you some shit and nit-pick some minor detail of a KILLER bike.

bad ass bike man, nice work.

i had a 2003 YZ125 and shortly after was picked up by a honda shop. sold the YZ and started riding the 2003 CR125... man that thing was a turd. even after tons of motor work and suspension work it was never even close to my YZ. then I picked up a 2004 CR 250 and it was probably the most fun i've ever had on a 250. that bike was near perfect.

currently i have a 2001 YZ 250 that i want to rebuild, maybe in the next year i'll get started on it.

thanks for posting the pics, i'd love to see some pictures of that beast in action

I have been thinking about sending my CR125 motor to Eric Gorr this winter for a big bore kit. I assume you are happy with his work?

I love both of these CR-125's in this thread. I would love to have a 06-07 CR125.

I'm happy with it, but like I said it's still no Yamaha motor wise. Definitely a lot better than stock. My 250 on the other hand is ridiculous fast!

I have a friend that has really good hook up in the Temecula area so his cost is not a fair indication. Regular pricing would prob be around 600 or so.

Wow, that is incredible work. I'll bet a 134cc kit would work well on the CR. It may not be as big as a 144 but still retain the rev and characteristics of the 125 engine. There is some airbox and intake alignment that helps these. Miedosoracing.com has done wonders with Aluminum framed CR125s.
