403/404 is in my opinion the best all around combo for the conditions you describe. 603 front also works very well as does the new mid/hard Pirelli rears.

Great line of products. I use all their stuff on my bikes and the quality is great. They carry 2 different type O-ring chains, a competition (lightweight) and a heavy duty baja type oring chain.

We have been working on the Mika Metals line for about 2 years. Production stuff is ready to go and will be released in January. We are working on finalizing packaging and catalog stuff. Our goal was to release a great product at a reasonable price and give it a different look than what is currently out there. We have...

Let me know how it runs with the big bore kit. I've got an 06 with ported Gorr motor and although its much better than stock, it's still slow.

I prefer the 80 size 90% of the time. If your riding a lot of ruts get the 80. Try the 603 front that thing is great except in muddy or sandy conditions.

Retail including the price I bought it for( 2700) would cost around 7200. That includes wheels, suspension, Hinson full clutch, Vforce, bars, chain and sprockets, anodizing, graphics, pipe and silencer, motor work. That's not Including labor or shipping on any of this. I wouldn't pay this much to get it done, but that would be retail.

Never tried the 01 but can't imagine it to be much better than this modified engine. The 09 Ktm I owned had an easy to ride very tractable engine but I like this CR better. The Honda you posted is sweet I would love to ride it with that 01 engine in it.

I've had stock looking bikes for about 20 years and figured it was time to do something different. Still a fan of stock look as well though, that stock Honda looks nice.

Mika Metals will be on the market in a few months. It has been in testing stages for about 2 years and will be ready for production in 2012. They will have a line of handlebars, chains, sprockets, fork bleeders and vent caps, with more products being released the following year. I've been testing pre-production stuff for a while now...
