At this point I'm guessing Tomac is feeling pretty damn relaxed but his mechanic and engine guy have all the pressure now. The only way he loses this title is a bike malfunction. His bike could get messed up from a 1st turn pile up or crash but he'll do everything he can to stay away from any shit.
I said that a couple of days ago...the mechanics are under unbelievable pressure.

That was Millville 2006 and the track was a horrible muddy mess.
He lapped some great mud riders too that day.

It was Sexton's tip over with two corners to go in that race that is the big difference right now.

I forgot it being a mudder. But I do remember him winning by big margins. Windham was usually the only one in sight.

Chase going to run off in moto 2, but Eli in complete control now... What an amazing race. Chase didn't handle the lappers as well as Eli.

At this point I'm guessing Tomac is feeling pretty damn relaxed but his mechanic and engine guy have all the pressure now. The only way he loses this title is a bike malfunction. His bike could get messed up from a 1st turn pile up or crash but he'll do everything he can to stay away from any shit.
He has to stay on point mentally and get off the gate well and then get comfortably into second. If he starts poorly he'll obviously have to stay totally focused until and assuming he gets to second. Still a lot on the line.

Just gonna say, Bondo is such a fucking idiot. This was a 45 minute window to make something impressive for the fans. Panel show with experts to talk about the racing, analyze what Chase or Eli can do differently, bench race on live TV. And instead we got 45 minutes of replays. Sometimes the same replay like 3 times. Pretty pathetic.

100%. I don't see the same flat out speed that Chase has in Jett yet. BUT you could argue Jett is such a smart rider he's only going fast enough to win and I couldn't disagree. His race management is stellar

I agree to an extent, but they also had to throw this together with just a few days notice. It would have been a perfect opportunity to let Steve Matthes add something to the broadcast.

I wouldn't be so quick to count Ferrandis out of the equation. He's pretty crafty and I'm not sure we've seen him pushing to the limit...when healthy.

I reckon Jett will be right there with Chase. Just a guess but he looks capable.
