Barring a catastrophe, it's safe to say this is Eli's title. What an amazing career and one of the greats no doubt about it. Kind of sad that he is leaving and also how bittersweet the sport is, in one hand Eli leaving on the top, on the other hand Roczen slowly fading into just another guy, forgotten and irrelevant. End of an era.

I agree, you can't blame him at all, but he definitely crumbled early in this one from the pressure. Tomac has been there done that and can stay cool calm and collected, maybe those mistakes have lit a fire under his ass though.

This might be really bad now for Chase, but I have a feeling this will just help him for the upcoming years. If he can eliminate his mistakes he is gonna be hard to beat in the future.
