I won't change it... I'll pile on.. I have an enormous tv... amd when they go to battle boxes the two boxes are small enough I can't really see what's going on.... sigh

Hate it.... I have a 55 inch TV and when you are using a stupid drone from 300ft away its terrible. Cramming in Motorsport holeshot replay, FLY battlebox, and various other sponsor plugs in the middle of the race just is annoying. PLUG PLUG PLUG is all is happening.

I don’t mind battle box when the leader is way out front and not being challenged. If it’s close up front though, don’t take the full picture off of the leaders.

When timing is down and they still leave all that unused space it really sucks. Normally it just sucks.

Seriously, the people that think this is better than the PIP need to have their heads checked. Not even 25% of my screen for each box, plus no graphics indicating what we are watching. In 250 moto 1 the announcers didn't even know who we were watching. I don't blame them, nobody can see anything with this terrible setup.

The concept is fantastic, the execution is slightly lacking. Its brand new and I would like to see it continue with further refinement.

Complain to Fly, not Davey or anyone related to the broadcast. They are the title sponsor of it. Complain to them and I'm certain they will help improve it. Shoot, JT$ works for fly and is part of the broadcast, and is a Vital Member. Maybe he can help with the refinement.

Of all the things to complain about, this is about 999th out of a 1000 in my opinion.

I've been watching in bed with my laptop so the battle box does not work for me. Guess it will be ok if i was downstairs where the 75 inch is.

Here's the thing. Do MX sports think everyone is watching on a 55 inch screen or bigger?

Edit - the streaming quality is better on my laptop than on the TV.

All i want is the same viewing experience as I had with Peacock last year...and it worked like a Swiss watch on the TV.

The battle box appears to have different Sponsors, a few weeks back it was the FMF Battle Box, yesterday it was Fly. This leads me to assume that MXSports are selling the box title each week.

Again, I stress that not everyone watches on a big screen tv all the time.

I guess I'll dive in and have a whinge , too.

That bloody positions / times bar - with the margin to the left of it and It, it takes up about a 5th / 6th of the screen.

Constantly. I bloody well hate it.

Just put the rider order and times scrolling along the bottom of the screen, FFS!

And then, if they are going to go for twin vision / battle box type 'innovations', they can be Far Bigger / Far Better. During those times they could hoik the low down placings scroll too.

With all of the 'F'ups this 50th year, I think whoever does the 'cast', couldn't organize a knee trembler in a knocking shop.

It needs to be fullscreen no shit around when they do the battle box.
And even overlap the corners of both boxes.
Say u have a 60" TV. both boxes could be 32-33" with a small overlap. No leader board of crap down the sides.

Selling the series rights to Monster, selling “battle box”, I must’ve missed the PR where they announced they were upping payout to the riders. Oh they didn’t do that? Maybe a PR where they announced this money is going to invest in some more track level cameras so we can visualize the speed and bumps…

The battle box sucks.

But yes the leader board on the side for the entire race is ridiculous. Takes up to much space. It was way better scrolling at the top or bottom. Now it’s just in the way.

And because the cameraman is framing the shot in the center, the ENTIRE view is changed significantly because of the leader board. The shot is not centered between the leaderboard and the end of your Tv screen. So basically the leaderboard is taking up space and cutting off the picture because it’s being overlayed over what is a centered shot.

But hey, that’s the way they do it. Don’t change anything guys.

Current both combined battle boxes take up about 50 percent of my screen.... cant see shit...

The fix? Have one battle box take up half my screen, with the other battle box taking up the other 50 percent .... that way 100 percent of my screen gets used for actual moto, and I might be able to actually see who's on screen...

Is a f ing terrible idea. It cuts my 42" tv into two screens that are barley visible. Another great piece of editing by the 15 yr veteran production crew. Let some young blood inject their perspective.

I only spotted one drone in the air, and it appears to be a DJI Mavic (not certain which variation). Is that really what they’re using for this Battle Box thing?

I watch on a 150" projector, and I can't even see who's battling most of the time. I can't imagine what you're able to see on a smaller screen...

I have to say I find it amusing that every now and then you can hear the commentary team has no idea either (they watch the main feed as far as I know).

Good call on the leader board taking up too much space and completely agree it is better to have the positions scrolling across the bottom. Battle Box windows are too small for sure.
