Now if a rider does something on the track or in the media that is apparently not the 'real person' or 'you dont know them so how can you say that' then that is their problem, people can only judge on what they see, to say people cannot say this or that about a person because we dont know them is bullshit. Like it or not professional racers (no matter what sport) or ALWAYS going to be judged/assessed by the public.
Now obviously a caveat to that, if that as long as the criticism or opinion or whatever is done respectfully.... like calling a rider a bonehead for doing/saying something is lot better than saying he is a fuckhead or I hate his guts or the other drivel we see here.

I don't consider social media a way of following him closely. That's just weird. I look at the span of his career and his results and I don't care what he say's on the microphone or on social media because that's his thought not mine.
I do like the fact that he says how he feels and don't care what you or anyone else thinks of it, after all, he is a smart man, a lot smarter than most of us here and dang sure a better bike rider.
Remember when he tried to get the track officials or whoever to change that dangerous landing in that rhythm section because he said someone was going to get hurt on it?
