Amazing what a year makes and he's way faster a rider this year than last year and is running circles around his competition. Too bad Villopoto ( the fastest ) got hurt and James on his Yamaha should probably think twice about racing Mike this year, because I personally believe he's going to get schooled by a much faster and experienced Alessi.

Stewart needs to race a national or two to put this stuff to rest. I don't think Alessi is going fast enough to beat Stewart but he is certainly on a different level than the other riders right now. He's hauling ass! Gotta respect the guy because he wants it.

Mike is my favorite rider but he is not any faster this yr than he was last yr. Put Stewart out there and he will beat Mike down by 45 seconds. The gap Mike is winning by right now is the same gap he was beating the 3rd place guy last yr before he got hurt.

You are right RC and Stewart just got lucky a lot. They were just flukes but Alessi is the real deal. Ha ha ha. I do admit Alessi has stepped it up and would of made the first few laps with RC or Stewart interesting.

Last season MA was the only one to challenge JS at all and his speed and endurance were improving until Colorado. He may give JS competition, but not school him, and as for RC? I dought it.
