gutted that i have to wait for an internet upload on Monday or whatever to see any more action....

noooooooooooooooooooooo, great to watch practice like that though i must admit, not sure how many weekends i will be able to afford these late nights what with racing on Sundays myself.

Yeah I'm also a bit worried about Reed. However his practise pace is never a representation of his race pace AND Reed always picks up speed during the season ...

What worries me is he seems like the same Reed that was at Las Vegas MEC. Not a good thing, but hopefully he will step it up.

I couldn't help but noticing this too ... ME Cup was normal because it was his race back from injury but you would think he would look a lot more 'active' now ...

I wondered if Baggett would step up his supercross game this year but it doesn't seem that way ...

It just seems like the track layout has taken a few by surprise. This isnt exactly a Chad style track.

Stewart and Villo are definitely the fastest. Those two attack the track like no one else. Milsaps looks great. He is so smooth it doesn't even look like he is going fast. Reed and Dungey look off but those two are always conservative in practice. Great day so far. The racing is going to be killer.

A Chad style track or not, a top competitor can adapt to any condition. I just don't think he was really going all out like some of the other guys. He's said it many times before "I've never made any money or any points in practice". Best to leave all judgements until after the races tonight.
