Who do you guys think is being slept on/under the radar going into 2022? I think these guys are gonna surprise some folks:

I'm biased, but I think Pettis can do well in the 250 class.



Edit: Friese in the 250 class could be interesting.

Is Shimoda still considered a sleeper? I just have a feeling he is going to be very consistent. He has always had a smooth style and it just looks like his raw speed has increased quite a bit. Schwartz has had a quiet offseason but he has shown some promise. Hammaker/Thrasher as well.

I don’t think Sexton would be considered a sleeper anymore, but I just have this feeling he is going to be a player this year in the 450 class if he can stay healthy. I’m curious how a motivated Anderson will look too.

He did have a little setback with his wrist while training at the Baker's Factory, so he was off the bike for a few weeks.

He's got a better bike than the last time he lined up, he's fit and now healthy, so I think we're all looking forward to seeing what he can do this year.

Cole Thompson could be good as well.

Mosiman needs to keep it off the ground, and he’s a legit title contender, so not sure he’s considered a sleeper.

JS7 was pretty bullish on Anstie after seeing him ride at 83 Compound (newest Bubba's World podcast from today.. not gunna lie, pod was mostly turrible.. but stoked to have Stew "back".. I'm sure the pods will be much better once there's racing to recap)

Musquin seems to be off most people radar, so he will be a good sleeper.

If he can get good starts and results early on the west coast, he will be right there when they turn east.

Ferrandis - I think he will win 2-3 races but not championship
Justin Hill - he will surprise folks in a few races - but not for entire season
Savatgy - maybe top 5's and maybe a podium

Mumford - could get a win or two.
McAdoo - maybe not a sleeper but think he will get a chip.
Schwartz - maybe get on the box a couple times.

Based on the power rankings I have Anderson as the sleeper. Seems wild to say about a former champ, but they have him ranked outside the top 10. I think he has multiple top 5s, a podium or two, and competes for a win like in 2020 in SLC. Probably finishes 5-7th in points.

I also think Mcalrath will have a couple solid rides into the top 10 and we will see a sneaky good ride or two from Justin Hill.

Everyone seems to be sleeping on AP7. Not heard him mentioned once. Had a much improved 2021 all round, new bike, back alongside Webb, training with Aldon, I think he has a race win in him.
Malcolm could get his first win too, I think he’s going to do well and be surprisingly consistent top 6’s

Thats my point. both finished 2nd yet never really spoken about or mentioned.
even with Hunter setting fastest lap times of the night most rounds late in the races & red plate, He doesn't get mentioned of a title contender or race winner compared to the others in the field,
