6 is Jeremy Martin. He'll be able to keep his number because he's out with injury.

13 should be left open.

Didn’t Weston pick 18 as his career number?

OP probably didn't put Peick next to 18 because the rule states that a rider needs to score 25 points in order to keep his number and the chances of him scoring any points this year is slim to none.

That said, like Jeremy Martin, Peick will be able to keep his number without scoring any points because he's injured.

I am aware of the injury rule, but because there has been no word that he is keeping yet from the AMA (if he doesn't race then he will still probably keep it, but for now I am keeping it the way it is.)

And again, We never know, there is a 90% chance that it won't be taken, but you never know.

I love seeing stuff like this, even if it isn't 100% accurate.

Mookie is permanent #27

Does Forkner have 24 permanently or what? I thought he did

Malcolm doesn't have 25 points to keep it. (if there is more to that, inform me)

and nah, Forkner was 11th in the GrandNationalChampionship. Close, but no.

as i said before, I am aware of the rule, but because AMA or someone apart of it, tells us who keeps the numbers for the past few years, I am gonna wait until then, but for now, I am keeping it the way it is for Malcolm

Keep in mind that not every forgein rider holds an AMA license, since they can race Supercross with an FIM license, so some of them may not be eligible for a national number.

He doesn't want to assume something that has a 90%+ chance of happening. Seems logical to me.

There is a WAY bigger chance Malcolm Stewart has #27 than Austin Forkner has of getting a number lower than 40.

Yeah, Soubeyras earned enough points for national numbers in 2016 and 2018, but did not get national numbers the following years. So probably won't for 2020 either.

and for the injured riders, they might get better before the season is over and are able to get 25 points by themselves, so yeah, if you see any mistakes just say it, i don't mind criticism

I think he lost it because he didn't earn any points in 2018. He was not listed on the AMA's official release of 2019 earned numbers.

But, he still got to use the number in 2019 because nobody else took it.

Should also point out that the AMA is pretty loose with the 25 point rule. It was originally created because guys like Brown and Dowd were holding their numbers for racing once or twice a year.

Unless a rider is retiring, it's highly unlikely they'd actually lose their permanent number.

If Forkner doesn't have 24 permanently i know he wants it , he would probably pay the guy in front of him not to take it.
All i know is the number System is Severely messed up
This Permanent Number thing is So so Dumb
It doesn't fit in OUR sport, and i pray that Some Day it Gets Fixed.
Just like The guy that earns #1 has to run Number 1,
It has meaning to earn your number every year,
Just like the privateers battle to earn a top 100
Number Again it has meaning and it does all the way through,
PERMANENT NUMBERS SUCK!
