$700 2003 CR250 (pretty much complete)

Bought this bike around spring of 2016 for $700 from a local guy. Chain was junk and got ahold of the case. Rear rim was also junk. But it cleaned up well!

Ran the bike over to a buddies and had him weld up the small hole from the chain damage. 10mins later it was ready to ride.



Then started cleaning up the bike

Rode it most of the season like this. Then started getting it ready for a trip to St. Joe's last September.

Bought a set of plastics off a guy on TT. Updated front fender, 07 shrouds, red number plates and fender. Decided i didn't want to put them on a dirty frame so the bike was completely disassembled. Took the frame and swingarm to get powdercoated.









Waiting on my hubs to get done at the coater. Then I'll have the black wheels laced up and new tires installed.

Sweet deal, I prefer the 04-08 front fender though. Black was a good call.

Very nice, I think grey grip tape on the frame would look great (just my opinion). Kind of crazy how a 14 year old CR still has a modern day appeal.

Thanks guys! I actually just got some grip tape frame protectors in the mail this morning for it. Also have some other goodies coming today to hopefully get the bike wrapped up.

Now you can ride it for as long as you want , if you like it kerp it . If not, dude you could totally sell it for 3x what you paid , on shortsale at that.

haha yep ive been riding this bike about every weekend since I got it last spring. Its tempting to try and make some money but I really like this bike.

How did the 07 shrouds mount up? ive heard that its not a direct bolt on.

They bolted right up. Other than my radiators being tweaked haha, direct fit.

Finally ordered a new pipe....Super happy with it. Can't wait to get the matching silencer.

Thanks guys, im really happy with the scalvini! Fitment was perfect.

wsc96 - seat cover is a FLU designs. Tried my best to get it pulled tight but im not real happy with it yet.

The wheels made a huge difference, kind of tied everything together IMO. All you need now is a flush mount carbon tank from blackdiamond. Kick Ass two stroke ya got there bud !

This looks sooo awesome! 100% my taste with the super clean look with almost everything black and red. Are you going to keep riding this bike? if so, please post some updates on how the powdercoated frame will be doing, even after every ride if it wears off that fast.

Bike looks great mate. Well done! I like how that seat cover follows the stock one with the black leading down to the wing.
