6/30/2016 5:42pm Had a question for you guys. I just traded a 94 yz250 for a 95 rm250. Got the bike home and tore the top end off. The cylinder and piston is damaged with pretty deep score marks. Looks like a ring let go. Anyways was wondering is it possible to just bore the plated cylinder out and run a piston...

12/16/2014 2:40pm Dragoo168 I took the stator cover off as you suggested and turned the crank over manually. The lower end sounds and feels rather lumpy. Do you think I can get away with just changing the needle bearing or is a full rod kit in order? thanks again guys

YZ-250K Started a new thread over-loaded skid-plate
6/13/2013 7:01am Was wondering if anyone had any ideas for me. I purchased a skid plate on ebay for my 1990 CR. I bolted it up and went riding yesterday came back and it had about 5 pounds of mud in between the engine and skidplate. Does foam usually go in there?

6/8/2013 7:47am anyone ever have a problem with metal reeds in the older motocross bikes? are these more prone to breaking or just not sealing as well as carbon fiber reeeds?

5/25/2013 10:28pm I was able to fit .020" feeler gauge in between the rod and thrust washer. .022" was to big to fit

4/9/2013 4:50pm Was wondering if anyone had any pointers on taking off graphics from a older motocross bike. I was able to get the graphics off but the adhesive glue stuf is still on the gas tank and having hard time getting it off. I have used that goo off stuf and paint thinner and it still wont come off... any pointers...
