Try competing at a high level without room for spare engines (one for each bike) as well as a work bench for tearing down or fixing suspension. You know, the type of space a semi provides. You don't think they need fancy rider lounges? Well you better say goodbye to the ability to replay practice footage and use Dartfish software to know...

I guess my my point is that $1 Million rigs are NOT needed to race a motorcycle at a high level. They simply are not. If you run with a reasonable equipment/budget you dont have to ask for millions from sponsors. But If that is the case I will have to tell that to every team from the past 50 years that it wont work. As nowadays they must have indoor cry rooms and 60" flat screens inside to get it done. Dont forget the custom drawer inlays that are CNC'd so they never lose those pesky 10mm sockets. Yeah....Must...

In my opinion JGR was the best "looking" team. The colors. The graphics. The Logos and team branding. The semis..... etc. I loved them. They seemed to have good racecraft but a lot of bad luck. BUT.... How the hell can a team this professional just go belly up? Do we really need $1 million dollar rigs and 9 power washing stations with 19 employees at every race? Just get a couple nice vans.... A tent and go fucking racing. Stop with the whole "have to bring a F1 team just to "feel" as big as the others". This traveling...

that gets said every single time he changes brand, I expect him to do very well with 1-3 place finishes in the first 2-3 rounds then be a 4-8th place getter from there on, not a hating comment before someone says that, just my guess of his predicted results

It’s a business. It’s not insulting to say that JGR should have made a change years ago. No one is doubting his skill set. It’s really no different then what happens in any other major sports. It’s a business. Plain and simple. He’s a good dude. But the results haven’t been there with the money they have invested. That’s not to say they haven’t had some wins here and there. But on par with the money invested they have not performed nearly to the level they or anyone would expect of a fully funded Gibbs racing team. You can’t argue...

JGR needed to change team managers about five years ago. Things haven’t been working at that team for years. The only constant through it all was the team manager. Good or bad. After years of futility a change should have been made. I get it he’s a great guy but man sometimes you need to shake things up when it’s been year after year after year of the same ho-hum results.

A Joe Gibbs Toyota gets more prime airtime during one race than the whole JGR team gets all year.

Supercross 2021 is not happening on the dates currently on the calendar. I don't want this to turn political, but someone was just elected that said we will be shutting down again if that's what the science says. So I expect the season to be delayed/cancelled. I am all for us taking about new teams and countdown clocks, I for one am ready to attend an indoor event, but be aware it can all be pulled out from under us rather quickly.
