Thats easy with KTM, they own WP. Honda and Yamaha dont own Showa or KYB and Honda will win at all costs in MotoGP so if Ohlins is best... they use Ohlins. They let Ken and Seely use KYB or Showa... if Ohlins had better mx suspension than A-Kit you best believe Kenny could use it if need be. Ohlins happens to make the best MotoGP suspension... so thats what they use, and KTM owns WP.

its so weird the euros own the suspension game in motorsport, but here we still use showa/KYB. maybe for the same reason we still use dunlop??

The 22-192-54 engraved in the clamp means 22mm offset, 192mm fork spread (standard) and 54mm bore (current stock size). These look to be identical machined copies of stock, even down to the parting lines and draft in the design for the forgings. And they're likely machined from billet, not forged first, as that would be ridiculously expensive for only a handful of clamps made. Main advantages over stock would be increased strength vs the forgings/castings (assuming they used 7075 material), and they anodize a lot better than the forgings/castings would.

Back on page 8 I detailed my effort to make a replica HRC Map switch. Actually turned out pretty nice... but still wanted a real one. Finally got a real HRC Map switch with the help from Vintagehonda.nl HRC Map Switch I also awhile back got the latest HRC steering damper to replace the first generation HRC one I had before. This damper has multiple adjustment capability. I honestly don't know what the adjusters do besides the red dial. 🤷‍♂️ HRC Steering Damper

I got the frame back from Premier Vapor Blasting of Georgia. It looks awesome! The look of vape blasted aluminum is just amazing. Such a clean look! I then installed the HRC engine (yes, some bolts/nuts are not tight).

Those clamps should fit standard size A kit/oem forks since they are stamped “54”. I believe the 17 up A kit forks use the oem size tube. It’s hard to say what sizes HRC has… we didn’t know about these triple clamps until this post lol, I’m sure they have options with some being more common than others. Anyway I’d be confident that stockers/A kit will fit in his clamps. I would kind trying that style myself. I have 2014 Geico Honda A kit forks with 56mm uppers and HRC triples to fit the 56mm uppers (on my 05 CR)...
