Back story, I'm a graphic designer by trade but this is my second attempt at using a real airbrush (as opposed to the one in photoshop). Hopefully it's obvious but the design is based around the South African flag and takes inspiration from a helmet I saw Rattray wearing years ago.

I have the programmable ECU with that LC GPA thingy om my 16 kawi 450. I have the same bike. I had my stock ECU remapped twice. Was not satisfied and bought the full GET system. Bike runs a lot better, wasted my money on the remap of the stock ECU. Also the LC-GPA unit is very nice to have. I have no experience with the Vortex.

Most teams at the GP's use non-stock ECU's and a lot of them have a special map for the sound test. Just pick map 2 on the map switch and the bike makes 4000 rpm less than what it makes on the track.. I've seen this happen for a few years now and i does not look like this changes...

^^^this Friend of mine had the same problem on a 2016 350. KTM dealer in Spain replaced the part for free. KTM is aware of this problem. I also think they replaced the bracket for one with some rubber mounting points or something like that.

I had this problem, only got worse and worse. I tried about every exercise there is, every tool, powerball you name it and it did not go away. Ended up having surgery on both my forearms and i wish i had it done sooner. It is not completely gone, still get a bit of armpump when i start riding again...

Man tough luck you have with this bike. Why is the Yamaha dealer not helping you out with a loaner 250F or something? The Yamaha dealers here in Holland are always pretty understanding in this sort of situations.
