James is no better and often worse than Grant Langston. His lightly Ebonics flavoured delivery is entertaining.

I think the shine is wearing off on James pretty quick. If he learns to be a little quicker in his explanations it would be an improvement. I just wish we could have someone with Malin’s style and actually call the racing not turn everything into a story or explanation.

Last new Yamaha I had grenaded on the face of a jump at LL in 2000, was two weeks old, rode it twice prior to LL. Fast forward 23 years I still wouldn’t think about owning on YZ bc of the frames breaking. One of the most recent photos on vital of a Yz frame breaking is a neighbor of mine. 6/4/2023 10:42am Ability and execution are two different things. Ktm intentionally cuts corners for reasons of weight and margins. Again, maybe the critical parts are equal or better (e.g. valve seats), but they half ass some stuff.

The track changes last year, removing the section around the pond before the big drop off/tree, took a away 2 good passing points, there were always a ton of passes going into the left hander before the step up. And the sweeper right hander always seemed to have passes too. I’m sure it was done to cut down the lap times, and freshen up a track that has been the same general layout for 10+ years. Just seemed like that was an area passes were made consistently. The off camber section is technical and I like it in concept, but...

Yamaha over Honda, Kawi is a better brand than they get credit for. KTM is a great bike but definitely more likely to break. Triumphs are shit quality, Ricky is making a big mistake

I agree. His “laying pipe” comment was just lame, just like the “far east coast” or “german chocolate “.
