TwoTwo150 Started a new thread YZ 125 Jetting Issue
6/4/2015 8:45am I bought this bike last year (06 yz125) and am having issues with lots of white smoke off throttle. I went up one clip on the needle jet but that did not solve the issue. Currently running 110 leaded with castor 927 (32:1) Any tips or tricks? Thanks

7/1/2014 10:14pm I have a gas station near me that sells renegade 110 leaded and my yz125 runs a lot cleaner on it than normal pump gas.

3/21/2014 11:40pm Change the oil and then fill it up with nitrogen. if that doesn't work you would have to rebuild it.

2/28/2014 1:52pm I dont think you will have to do a remap but you should probably get a fire resistant filter. Twin air sells them I think.

2/12/2014 7:47pm the suspension on the 450 would probably be set up better for your weight. Also see if a local dealer has demo days where you can test out a bike before you buy.

2/12/2014 6:30pm ^ best idea, you can get a ECU tuner from kawi for around $500ish and you can change the power delivery drastically.

2/12/2014 11:25am You cant go wrong with the honda. Ive heard of problems with KX bikes but I think its due to negligence on the owners part. Both bikes are great from what I've heard you cant go wrong with either.
