I don't see what the problem is. If you have an old frame and a motor lying around why not frankenstein them together to produce a working bike. It might be some kids first bike and get him into the sport.

As Down South said big deal. Some adult or maybe kid took some parts that didn't do anything but sit there and made something out of it. Maybe it was a father son project. The only problem I have with it is selling a bike with no rear brake.

I don't know what the problem is.....that thing looks pretty sweet. If it runs half as nice as it looks, I'll be booking a flight to Joliet very soon. I'm already getting a little jazzed up just thinking about riding that thing back to CA.

Air filter, you say? We don't need no steeenkin' air filter. You got any idea how much extra weight those things add?

Harbor Freight tools sells brand new 6.5hp engines for $99 if you wait until they are on sale. Should be a breeze to put one on that CR. Centrifugal clutch, and a jackshaft for proper gearing and chain alignment. That would be a real hoot to cruise the pits at the local races. Whole deal could probably be done for less than $200. I would love to do something like that. Especially if the bike is just going to be junked anyway.
Smiles for miles.

Oh dear. That makes me think of the movie, "Deliverance." Not the pig squealing part. More so the in-breeding that takes place and what happens after you do the dirty with your sister.
