So I have a 2007 yz450f that needs a rebuild in the rear shock and I don't have the money. The rebound on it is super bad and ajustting it does barely anything. Is there a way to temperarely fix or just make it better?

Change the oil and then fill it up with nitrogen. if that doesn't work you would have to rebuild it.

Read your manual and see if you feel comfortable changing the oil. It is mandatory that it gets done right and has zero air. I am sure that there are plenty of videos on youtube to help see what to do. If so, go to Langston and get some oil. Ask them if they will charge the shock when you are done.

Yamaha's are notorious for not having enough rebound valved into the shock. Get it revalved and while they are doing it they will change the oil and give you a fresh nitrogen charge. I know you say you don't have the money, but getting a rebuild/revalve is about the only thing that will help.

I would strongly suggest that you have proffesional repair/rebuild your shock. If you do not have the prior experience and knowledge you run a great risk of causing major damage to your shock and possibly yourself. This will in turn cost more money in the end.
