I said the same thing. I couldn’t believe how long it took for anyone to get to him. My dad was over in front of the start around mechanics area and he had to go over there cause Justin was just laying there by himself. That was a joke. Unacceptable.

No medical training so won't comment on that part. However as someone pointed out that's a supercross stadium, not outdoors, meaning they can think about flagging positions, EMS circulation and so on while designing the track without any external natural constraints like elevation or whatever. That is an ideal scenario. Hopefully they already do that. But man, +50s to attend a downed rider in a stadium... this is not acceptable, so many witnesses around, I can't believe that's the fastest they could have done. And if it really is, that means there's a very serious issue about training, staffing, communicating...

I was approx 25’ from where it happened and watched the the chaos after he went down. There were AMA officials scrambling to have the race red flagged almost instantaneously once they saw both Mookie and Barcia were down. What made me sick to my stomach was having my eyes on Barcia the entire time he was down and it appeared he was knocked unconscious and laying there for a solid minute before anyone came to his aid. During that time i could see his right arm having what looked to be a seizure. Shaking while nothing else was moving...

It's the producers. They think they need a "color" guy there. The racing is the color as well as the insight from people who actually know what is going on. No need to hype things up. The product is what it is. Stop trying so hard please. No Diffy. No Ralph. Just some commentators who know what they are talking about and also know when to stay quiet. I'm not a regular listener to Joe Rogan, but I've noticed and seen comments, about how he'll let a guest actually continue to talk without interrupting them. Same with the racing. If...

I don't hate him myself, but the entire production has been on a slow downward spiral since the Eckman/Bailey era. Even re-watching the above clip I realized the camera angles and cuts were better back then. The boom camera, the head on shot through the whoops, then over the finish... It's all very cinematic and everyone is locked in. Today, there's a heavy reliance on the wide shots from the seats and some super sloppy direction (cutting to the wrong riders happens wayyyy to often). Roczen was 2 seconds back of Tomac with a lap to go and no one...

This. He did the same thing on his KTM fairly regularly. He will win races. He will have some shocking nights too. If he was on his KTM I doubt the night goes all that differently.

That was the worst coverage i have ever seen on MXGP-TV, the camera placements were shocking, the sound was awful, the feed dropped in and out, comms was sketchy, at one point we were taking the on circuit feed. I have no clue how it can suddenly be that bad, unless they had a new bunch of people somewhere in the loop..MXGP-TV is always solid. I will make enquiries, something wasnt great , and folk deserve to know. Its obvious that they dont have in 'infeed' of their own 'outfeed' , because if they did, it would get seen instantly...
