Sending a guy with a freshly broken bone is shooting ourselves in the foot when there are other healthy riders, on the same bike nonetheless, that have raced the event before and have the speed. If Deegan was healthy, yes he’s obviously the choice (even despite this past weekend’s antics) but in this moment he is a liability. Just...

I figured a good majority of the folks on the board have raced or at least been around it to know what's what. I don't think anyone would bitch about a brake check, a handlebar in the ribs, leaving the inside open and getting your front taken out...that's close racing. That ain't what I saw.

I guess it depends on whether you believe a country should send their best riders no matter what or you believe the best representatives should participate. I honestly wanted Deegan to pull his head out and let his riding do the talking because he's phenomenal but he's just a turd in the punch bowl. Sad really.

Right? Isn't Pellitier the guy that calls the shots? Seeing as how the AMA pounded Deegs with a whoppin' 5 point penalty after Vegas I can see them nut hugging until the day before. Somebody needs to tell Pellitier to shit or get off the pot.
