I've ran of bunch of oils over the years and the only difference I've ever really noticed is in my wallet and the spooge coming out the tail pipe. When i was young bought all the cheap shit from autozone, it was probably weed whacker oil but I never had any issues with.. VP and lucas if I remember right. Since then I've tried Honda HP2 Yamaha 2R Maxima 927 (super spooger for low rpm riding) Motorex Cross Power And now I'm running Bel-Ray SI-7 which is the OEM recommended Husqvarna oil and is almost half the price of motorex...

I think with your size that you would regret the 85, a 125 is going to wear you out faster than a 250f, both big bikes are going to have similar sizing. Might be a matter of getting used to/comfortable on a new bike?

I have had the shock apart and changed oil 3 times so far this season, fork seals/oil a few weeks ago, stock sag from the manual, lower air pressure made a noticeable difference on the movement of the forks but also seemed to help eliminate the sharpness from acceleration chop on the rear suspension. Doesn't make much sense to me...
I have just been pressing the stem down through the lower clamp in the press until the bearing comes off then flip it over and press the stem back to its original position. Take the new bearing and set it on the bulb of a trouble light for a few minutes and it will usually expand enough to just drop...

Have had my '17 TC125 for a few months now and really haven't played with the forks much, have been running them at 120psi for my 165lb weight but have been fighting the rear shock a bit. Dropped my forks to 117psi and noticed a lot more movement when out on the track - and the rear seems to be...

I have had a similar feeling on the rear and adjusting the rebound helped it out. I wonder if more oil in the forks would help it out too?

Sounds like you have done everything correctly to me. I don't use the vacuum bleeder either and haven't had any issues, done it three times this season and my oil has came out looking like new every time. Is the new piston the same as the old one as in diameter/ports? Wonder if it's bypassing due to a slightly smaller...

Like Luxon said, the linkage makes a huge difference! I had N2D do my shock and along with their link, it is much better. Like I said on the Ride axle blocks and Honda axle I have, it is better to adjust because you can see the marks along with the extended scale off the back. Other than that, save your money.

I'm having the same thing with the acceleration bumps on my '17 TC125, talked to a suspension guy that works closely with KTM Canada and he was pretty sure that I needed a heavier spring. Suspension is squatting too low and dropping into the stiffer part of the stroke - I bought a 42 spring from him but haven't really...

Got an email a week back from Millennium letting me know my cylinder was delayed. Hard to complain when I’ve taken my sweet ass time tending to this build. Anyway, it showed up today and Looks perfecto! Once I assemble the powervalve and bolt everything up it’ll technically be ready to run.

I bought a GPS lap timer and cut it into an old bar pad, holds your last lap time for 10sec every time you pass the waypoint. You can set the waypoint wherever you want, comes with software to download the laps to a check out g force/fast lap/slow lap/total time/average lap/etc. Search 'Tutor GPS Lap' and should come up...

Really digging the TC so far, even the air forks! Air filter is an awesome setup, power is good, handling is great, hydro clutch is sweet, not sure what else to say. I've been a Honda guy all my life (have a first year CR125 and a last year) but the Husky is darn good. I'm 165lbs and 6' if...

I have an '07 which I bought in '08 (I think) and it has been a great bike! I bought a '17 TC125 this spring and it's the first bike I have ridden that corners as well as the Honda, plus it has more power Smile

Race is 105, don't remember static off the top of my head though. I have a heavier spring coming this week since I am borderline (static sag is a little higher than spec) and it matches up with the race tech spring calculator at 42 N/mm compare to the stock 39N/mm. Going to try the spring for a few rides...

I'm running my hsc at 2 1/2 turns, tried opening up my rebound but the rear end seemed to get loose. It almost feels like the rear is squatting too low when accelerating and then in a more aggressive part of the stroke?
