Best tool to use with press to remove lower triple clamp bearing?

I have to change triple clamp bearings on my '87 KX250 build. Been a while since I swapped stem bearings - is there a foolproof tool to use in getting the bearing pressed off the stem? Have 20 ton press and several generic pullers, but nothing that looks like it will work.

Sometimes if you heat the bearing you can work it off by lightly tapping the the backside of the bearing with a punch or drift.

I have just been pressing the stem down through the lower clamp in the press until the bearing comes off then flip it over and press the stem back to its original position. Take the new bearing and set it on the bulb of a trouble light for a few minutes and it will usually expand enough to just drop on.

This. ^^^ It's not like they need to come off in one piece either. Drift and a small sledge, takes 10 minutes.

Cut the cage and punch it off or use a dremel with a cutting wheel.

This. If you have a press there's no need to be using chisels and hammers to get it off. Just press the stem straight down and the bottom clamp will push the bearing up the stem. Just make sure the bottom clamp is supported in the center. On many of them if you let it rest on the fork leg bores it will flex down in the middle when you start pressing.
