10/10/2024 1:40pm The key to this is "I paid $1450 for the ticket". Right there is why they keep raising prices, it is not really the sellers fault. You wouldn't say no to a raise in your salary right? It's not like they are selling milk and bread, but tickets to a dirtbike race.

kelso.184 Liked a forum topic How did Triumph get it so right?
10/9/2024 2:24pm Triumph has hit the ground running They made an instant impact in the AMA They made an instant impact in the GPs They have now many an instant impact in Endurocross They didn't slut out their brand to get 100 sponsors to do it They have RC onboard They didn't rush their bikes and even delayed the 450 to make sure everything was perfect They didn't just chuck a light on their 250 and call it an enduro bike It's been a slow process, all done so well. They have great teams, riders, communication, and a strong product, and it...

10/5/2024 11:43pm This was a normal sized ute (truck) until relatively recently, now its modern day equivalent is a good 10% bigger with out being able to seat anymore people or carry anymore stuff, probably a bit safer though. We are also seeing a lot more RAMs and other US sized trucks here in Aus than we used to back in the day. For reference this is a 1998 Holden/Isuzu Rodeo 2.8 turbo diesel.

10/5/2024 11:30pm I just finished watching the MXoN Qualifying Races and holy cow what a difference between this broadcast and the pathetic sh@tshow the US SMX broadcasts have become. Some notes: The MXoN broadcast seems to use the necessary 7 or 8 cameras on the ground that actually follow the race fully around the track. Beautiful FULL SCREEN coverage of the riders, properly framed, railing turns, hitting jumps, working the ruts, showing body positioning, suspension action, etc., and most importantly, showing the RACING!! They (thankfully) have very minimal use of their split-screen, and almost zero useless Inserts of a guy in the...

10/5/2024 4:19am The Dutch youth have very much adopted the English language, especially the swear words in the Dutch language. Just for fun, look at Dutch influencers on YouTube and you'll know what I mean, and yes, that's how they talk on national TV either. The Dutch are known for their directness, and if you translate Dutch directly into English, which is what most Dutch people do because it is not their native language, it often comes across as rude and arrogant. If you are a young motocross rider and don't have much TV experience and no media training, then an interview...

10/5/2024 4:19am He certainly has lightened up a lot in his later career. He spent a lot of his younger years looking and talking miserably. I’m sure that wasn’t his natural demeanour, maybe it was just the pressure or maybe it was the cameras. But he’s certainly coming across cool these days.
