My reflection on it is that so few make it to the top I would rather be able to enjoy riding for a long time instead of being the local fast guy for a year or two. I’m closing in on mid 50s and still riding where as most of the people I’ve raced with in the past have long hung up the boots. I was never the fastest but was able to be competitive at local races but always cursed myself for not being able to push that edge to be a fast guy people notice. Looking back that...

That rhythm was awesome but with the rain they got before the race made it rut up more than I’m sure they anticipated. Slow, peaky rhythms are great. I hope due to the soft, rutty conditions they had to deal with doesn’t deter them away from doing more of that. I think the slower speeds are ultimately safer than clicking 3rd out of the corner and going 3-4-4 along the side lines.

This is why self regulation is important. If the people who know what to do won't do anything to fix it, then someone who doesn't know will. Imo, there have been too many young mx deaths lately, and no one seems willing to do anything about it.

Not everyone obviously, but this recent drama in our media really makes us all look stupid and unprofessional as a sport. The new thing seems to be to shit on Matthes for clicks and views. That comment about hopper asking AP about Eli to KTM wasn’t even a big deal, he even prefaced it with “I like Johnny but..” These dudes saw it as an opportunity for sensationalism and views and suddenly there is podcasts, reels, clips, everything appearing on the topic, let’s just stick to the moto stuff and not bash someone for their opinion on something you did/said...

In March of 23 my right side main bearing failed. Bike was almost 2 years old with 27.8 hours on it. Beta shipped a brand new engine to my dealer at no cost to me. That was customer support on the next level. Bike is a 2021 200RR.

Beta did this on my '23 500RS. It suddenly had some idle'ing issues at about 50hrs and they thought it was the valves. Went through all of that and some other things but couldn't fix the problem. Beta replaced the entire engine and harness free of charge to me. Their service cannot be beat.

Man, I’ve been thumping the Anderson to HEP in other threads with little support or agreement. If Jason can get healthy, I think it is a great fit. More Suzuki’s on the gate, the better!

Roczen isn’t racing the full WSX series. He’ll just race as a wildcard. He’s racing in 2026 with HEP for AMA SX and SMX.

I believe it was said a couple months ago that he’ll be racing WSX with HEP since Roczen is no longer doing the full series. If that’s the case, I’m assuming that means he’ll be with them next year full time.
