Simple green, Awesome and I have at times used Westley's Blech-White sprayed on motor for short periods of time. Works well, but you have to keep an eye on it!!

For cleaning, I use a product called awesome. You can buy it in a gallon jug or quart size from family dollar store It works just like the name implies...Awesome. After I clean the bike I take a leaf blower and get as much water off of it as I can. The next step is to spray wd-40 on the chain and engine. The last step is to apply maxima sc-to all the plastic and rubber parts. Presto, you have a new bike.

"I also know for years Troy-Lee KTM was using it. They would dump the Motorex out and use the bottles filled with Rotella for their race bikes. Not sure if they still do however."...I'm pretty sure it still happens! I ran Rotella in all my sons bikes over the years 65,85,125,250,450 and never had a single clutch problem. Good stuff.

Might get bashed for this, but I wouldn't buy a new PW 50. My cousin bought one a few years back, I was shocked at how much he paid for a freaking PW 50. Buy a used one, save the difference for the kid's college/tech school, or first full size bike.

Sad thing is now all the CL pdubs are $600-$800, for 15-18 yr old bikes!!

Oh, and in before someone comes along and tells you to buy one off CL for 100 bux; clean the carb, throw a new throttle cable on, let your kids ride it for 10 years and then sell for $600.
