I don’t think your understanding exactly what’s been keeping him out. Recently it hasn’t been overriding. 2022 he looked in control and even had the ‘complete’ the whole season mindset. Then an out of control Jettson jumps from one side of the track to the other, taking him out. Definitely not Austin’s fault. 2023, is just shit luck. You could re run that start 50 times and you’d have a different outcome every single time. Maybe he could’ve lifted but at those speeds, there isn’t a way he could’ve known that something even remotely close to getting launched 30 feet...

Have you ever seen Forkner ride? I don't think 3-5 is in his vocabulary. He is a win it or bin it guy through and through. I really think he will gel with the Triumph and if he races East Coast I have him as my favorite. Don't forget he was the last guy to go toe to toe and give a healthy Jett all he could handle.

To a point you are correct - all riders at this level have preferences when it comes to fit and function. While we try to spread kits around throughout the season, putting riders in both our midrange (Launchmode) and top end (Sportmode), so that consumers can see that the performance is fit for professionals with either model, the riders will mostly (but not always) gravitate toward the premium stuff.

We expected it to be like the videos that we saw of the Florida event. Easy going, tamed down MX with some trails through the woods, beer stops, roads, etc. Turned out to be half the MX track with some gnarly single track through the woods. I went down hard Friday in practice and got banged up. Had an early race Saturday morning, MX track was slick. I signed up for +50 Beginner/Novice 2-stroke but they ran all the 2-strokes together! Probably over 200 riders out there at the same time. I wasn't comfortable with the pros flying by me...
