Yes! I just rode around the shop and everything works, even the front brakes.  So stoked!

Raced against them, never owned one, I was a Yamaha guy.  The 480 was the best open bike of the era IMO

Thumbs aloft on both the bike and the truck.

I recall racing John Greenway at Saddleback when he 1st had his from Honda. I was on a 465 YZ and that Honda was so much better in many ways, except the kickstarter. I always thought that Honda would help me keep him close  Probably not. That Honda would look great in my Red Nissan mini truck.

It's hard as a rock,  got mx34s and fork seals on the way.  Thinking about springs too, it's pretty soft by today's standards.

Proper! Left leg is good, and it's actually a pussycat. Nothing like the 86 cr500

She's a beaut OTee. My friend had an 83 while his brother had an 84 500 that we used to hillclimb the beans out of on Tom's hill between Bend and Lapine. I topped it on the 500 only. 480 was too sweet and mellow.

Ahhhhh that brings back memories, it was the very first big bike I ever raced. I loved that bike!

82, four speed, 83 five speed.  I liked the 83 over the 82, but 82 was way better then the 81.

The only 83 at Barber's was a couple years ago and I think it was one of Jody's bikes. As nice as it was, I don't believe I had the credit score.
