Agree 100%! I did this a couple of years ago and was surprised that even though it is a descent you still have almost 2k feet elevation gain. Be prepared physically and mechanically. Spare parts, food, and enough water. It is my most epic ride experience!

Hey fellas- I posted this in the Vital MTB forum too, but I figured some of you over here might be interested. I was recently able to check off a "bucket list" MTB ride in Moab, UT: The Whole Enchilada. For those who don't know about it, it's a 27-mile ride with a 5-mile cruise back to your car at the end. They shuttle you from the town of Moab up to the Burro Pass trailhead in the La Sal mountains, and you ride back down. It's not all downhill, but there's about a 7,500 foot loss in elevation over...
