Who says that it's Decosters fault? Decoster just informed Lewis what might happen if Tomac and Star doesn't step up. Maybe nobody else is an option for the AMA.

Lewis tweeted that Decoster told him that USA wont go if Tomac doesn't replace Sexton.

This is my thought now, Deegan still needs to get his plate sorted so just send JCoop on the 250 and let Webb ride open and swap Tomac for Pless in 450.

Similar to webb, it's a no lose situation. Would be great to see. With all the drama the last 2 seasons.... if we end up sending AP, webb, tomac with a next man up mentality..... what's not to love about that? Not like those 3 are scrubs....

They aren’t going to kick AP off the team…nor should they. He rode well tonight. Listen…. Haiden wimped out…he’s not going. Eli will take Chases place if his hand is broken. Not a mystery.

The irony if the team that ”would not support” it last year,(and at one part this year) end up having 3 bikes at the event.

Now that Webb is going=Star is going, does Deegan decide he wants to go or does he still have the plate in his wrist taken out? Justin Cooper, maybe?

Adjusting the axle position from fully forward to full rearward, is a change of about 4% in swingarm pivot to rear axle length. Steps in rear shock spring rates are typically 6-7%.

Big S, I believe the torque is the lever torque, not the torque of the engine. Just like a longer handle on a breaker bar. The further the rear axle is in the swing arm, the more torque it applies to the movement. I’ve always wondered how significant a change moving the rear axle has on the required spring rate for the rear shock, due to this lever effect. I know it impacts it, I just don’t have the knowledge on how to calculate it.

I’d maybe agree with this if he was winning everything but his results are all over the place. Another year to learn some consistency and to limit the crashing wouldn’t be bad for him. He’s still young…

There is no magic pill that you can substitute for actually trying different settings. And a lot of getting the settings right is knowing the rider and how they communicate what they are feeling. Or if you are the rider having a really good idea where you are having problems in the suspension stroke and what direction to go. No app can do this for you. Data acquisition might help if you know what you are doing with it but there are still a lot of variables there. The best thing you can do is keep a log. On faster...

Ya, my son isn't great at communicating what he feels or wants to change. It's always a work in progress! Keefer had a great pod cast on terminology as well as what questions I can ask i.e. is what you are feeling on or off the throttle. The answer will yield two different solutions.

not at all, you're not an idiot. I think you hit that right. AI is helpful, and we are currently working on that. In the meantime, you can follow us on Instagram out of curiosity, you will see that even the top level pro riders struggle quite a lot with it.

You know, the app was first released early in 2023 with a free version and a premium version. After more than a year, and collaborating with pro riders, I realized that very, very little pro riders were into testing suspension, had very little knowledge and far less interest in investing time learning. With the exception on José Butron, that dude is an animal. He is well over his 30s and still slapping ass here at the nationals. He scored a 6th overall at Southwick last year! Long story short, he broke his ankle in three parts while on his prime...

A feature like this would be nearly impossible to get reliable results with. There are some general rules of thumb though that you don’t need an app to tell you. Soft terrain/sand - harder compression settings to keep the bike from diving. Harder terrain - softer settings to comply to the ground better. Too many times I think people ignore rebound as well. A lot of times what feels like a compression setting that is too stiff is actually rebound that is too fast.

Agreed, basic rules of thumb are good, but it is really easy to get lost. At least for me. I just tried the app and cool that it gives me the percentages, but ok, now what do I do with that? With Ai language technology, every Youtube video, article, etc, can be scanned and data aggregated for common guidance. It...

Hi Guys, anyone using the Clickers MX App? it converts clicks into percentages, which helps understand the settings you have in your suspension. For example, instead of talking about 15 clicks out, the app tells you that your fork is at 60% of its compression force, or rebound speed, whatever it is. Best of all, it takes you back to your base settings when you need them, and tells you the number of clicks/quarters of a turn and the direction (clockwise/counterclockwise) to go back to them. Easy as pie. It also allows you to check the balance between the front...

My $.02-I like the idea and good on you for jumping into this. The thing that would be most helpful, particualry to newer riders and idiots like me who second guess everything, is an app that can help you know what adjustments to make based on on conditions that day. I am thinking a cross between the Motool app and...
