Agreed. I am not saying he is guilty or not caught up in a giant misunderstanding, or isn't being authentic when he claims this came out of nowhere, but WMG and all involved would not be reckless and just fire the guy on speculation. A certain amount of diligence was done to the point they felt comfortable pulling the trigger.

Yeah, nah Lucas. The Lawrences and Wasserman knew about things for at least two weeks. Both those parties would have set the best forensic accountants to work to see what happened with the accounts, then the best lawyers to assess their legal status and any risk in regards to sacking Mirtl. They then dropped the hammer. If there was any doubt or differences in opinion between Wasserman and Lawrences this would not have been synchronized. Mirtl sounds like a guilty man trying to gain public sympathy.

It’s all shit from years ago, the track cut at Mini O’s always irked me. But the kid rips and is going to be at or near the front on a regular basis…. Just need to skip his podium interviews.

Are you referring to the incident with mini bikes when he got caught cheating? I remember reading about that thread back in 2014, I believe. Ever since then, I’ve disliked group around him and always assumed he might be cheating in other ways too...

On Pulp he hardly said anything about Deegan, just said something about dealing with his antics for a couple years. Guess little Deegs took offense to that.... even though he says he doesn't listen to the noise.

I think it’s just a psychological game he’s playing. It seems to work for him. Julian can’t ignore it forever, probably will say something else and fire up Deegan even more. Just think it’s some head game Deegan is playing, call it manufactured drama if you want, it’s racing first but there’s an entertainment element that he’s playing into.

What was he talking about on the podium? IMO, Deegan’s mental weakness is how much he focuses on other people. Last week, intentionally trying to mess up Julian’s fast lap. This week, becoming completely delusional on the podium. JuJu, genuinely seems immune to Deegan’s childlike antics considering he’s been around the Deegan games since he was six (think that’s what he said). Championships rides by both tonight.
