I saw Eric Eggens race that in a British Championship at Lyng, guess it was the same year, it broke and he walked back with the spring in his hand . Its a long time ago, but i vaguely remember that it pulled the shock, not compressed it.

Jan de groot kx250 2004. He moved down the shock to get a straight intake. Saw that bike in person in Belgium 2004 when I was there. I believe that this picture is taken at the Uddevalla GP in 04.

Great work so far. If you're considering port work also, I would highly recommend Tom Morgan Racing. He can also have your cylinder plated at Millenium Technologies after his work. If no porting, then maybe straight to them. But would be sure to confirm if they need the piston you plan to use before plating.

I recently acquired a beat ‘94 CR125. It’ll be my son’s first run at a full rebuild, and I know it makes zero financial sense. However, the ‘94 was my first dream bike as a kid. I got the cases split and blasted, and I need to probably send the cylinder off. The piston was seized and the bore looks a little rough, but not as bad as I expected. After a light cleaning with muriatic acid, I’m getting an bore ID of 53.87mm, but the standard for an “A” cylinder is 53.976-53.983mm. Is it typical for a used cylinder...

Bill built me a pipe & silencer for my 04 cr125 a few weeks ago. It only took aprox 2 weeks. Milenium plating & repair is the best but pricey now. Get plating done 1st then porting. Because plating process puts a shade of color ovr the porting. Milenium talked me into using wossenger pistons. They a high quality plating...

Too much crying from online “fans” about lappers. Why should they bother?

I always felt like lappers getting out of the way of the leaders was a courtesy but not required. The leaders need to plan for having lappers in the way; it's as simple as that.

Man I still don't see this as a huge deal. Almost every rider talked about how hard it was to stay straight in those soft ruts. It's Indy fer chrissakes - it's almost always like this. Yes, Friese came left 3-4 feet, but Tomac also went right 2-3 feet on his jump out of a different rut on that same face. That's a racing incident. Hunter just committed to a triple into a corner when he was approaching lapped traffic - he should really know better. He's lucky it went as good as it did. He coulda landed on Cole...

Yeah he should. Everyone has to account for everything that they see in front of them. Ruts, tough blocks, lappers etc. Like mentioned above, Hunter saw traffic and still tried to thread the needle and triple into the corner with traffic. You can't just send it wherever you want, because those guys are a lap down. The responsibility falls on everyone. And things are going to happen sometimes, because it's racing. I fault the track more than anything, as mentioned above. But even the lead guys were messing up and making mistakes, so clearly a guy outside the top 10...

Haha it pulls hvy modded yz,s in wet tacky deep sand on the start. And I was running 13 month old c12 in bulk. Fresh fuel I should be top 5 of 25 on the starts. From the hit it’s a Hyper rush of torque to 11k then it flattens out but still pulls. Remember this is the last National...
