PDiddy241 Added a reply to Jake Weimer Injury Update
9/19/2017 2:01pm I hate it when simple failures like chains, hubs, sprocket bolts (gotta torque 'em tight!), etc. cause injuries. For how dangerous MX/SX is, the simple hard parts shouldn't fail anymore.

4/20/2017 1:00pm Sorry man! It's too frequent that this happens nowadays. I bought my policy from GEICO online and was pleased with with how they took care of me when my bike was stolen. I hope you get it back!

4/17/2017 9:25am I bought a 2006 YZ 250 in 2010... it was BEAT! It was really fun to rebuild but it was just about as expensive as buying a new bike in the end. And some of the stuff (like the messed up drain plug, fork tubes, lower frame cradle, swingarm) can't just be buffed out. I bought a new YZ 250...

4/7/2017 10:57am I’ve been watching this thread too since my ’15 YZ 250 was stolen around the same time in California (A1 2016). My bike was later recovered (but by that time it was GEICO’s and not running according to the police officers) as was another one of the five bikes stolen (that one was also insured – the two uninsured bikes...

4/1/2017 8:44pm Yes, you have to sleep with your stuff and then hope the bad guys don't have guns or other weapons. It's really sad.

4/1/2017 8:43pm My bike was stolen out of a 100% sticker-free enclosed trailer... hope you get your stuff back undamaged! Theives suck. The guy who plead guilty to stealing my bike (and $100K+ other stuff) served a few months in jail and is on probation for three years. He owes me $500 for my insurance deductible but I haven't seen a penny...

2/21/2017 8:47am When my bike stolen it was locked up with the thickest cable I could find -- the thieves cut it with bolt cutters very easily. (It was also in a locked enclosed trailer with the rear ramp door blocked by a vehicle and in 24/7 patrolled parking lot...) Buy the heaviest CHAIN you can find and then sleeve it with...
PDiddy241 Added a reply to Nerve damage from broken tibia fibula
2/14/2017 11:02am I did something very, very similar back in '06 -- most of the top of my right foot is numb still (and will be forever). It took me 123 days to walk (I broke the right tibia, fibula and talus and the left calcaneous and tibia) and 6 months to ride again. I will have a slight to moderate limp...

2/5/2017 9:52am To use "reductio ad absurdum" the nazis were just following rules. This thread would not exist if the gate person would have called his/her manager and they made an exception and let the little boy and his dad back in. There are always exceptions and exclusions to rules and an exception should have been made.
