I finally listened to the segment and all I pretty much heard Buttledge Woods say the whole segment was “I’m not insecure YOU’RE insecure” as DV told him to get over himself. I had no qualms with the guy before but he definitely proved he is a dildo.

I'll see your Rutledge take (keep him out there) and raise you at least 2 live segments during Peacock's no commercial breaks. Sorry NBCSN viewers. The downtime (during commercials) could be used for anything technical or not (Webb just changed his clutch lever, in the pits stuff, or on the track stuff). I was totally even keel with the dude from watching him on Top Gear, etc..... but he came off like a total dickbag on the Pulp show... DV wasn't much better, but we already know DV's personality. Dude clearly is here on assignment and is totally DGAF about what our audience thinks of him. Which is fine, he's got plenty of other paying gigs lined up I'm sure - but clearly he has a certain arrogance about his brand, otherwise he may of tried being just a tad more humble. as far as the argument for making the sport "more...

The thread started out about his broadcast appearance. Even before him showing his @ss and then getting it handed to him on Pulp....this was the bottom line. 1.) His hokey "dumbing down" fake shtick is an insult to the fans of this sport 2.) He added literally nothing of value to the broadcast. Yes, we can mute him, or go "take a dump" when he's on... In the end, it's just making a mockery of our sport and the fans. It's not going to bring in new fans.

How arrogant do you have to be to think people only don’t like you on the broadcast because they’re insecure and you’re an outsider. Maybe he’s just bad and people are mad because they’re tired of SX being by far the worst produced professional sport on TV and want the on air time he takes up to be used better

Understandable that Steve laid low, could be career limiting. This wasn’t Rutledge’s first rodeo and he came in ready for bear. Jumped in the pool and made a big splash that only a belly flop could produce. Emphasis on flop. Le Cobra gave him a reality check most understood, but Rutledge clearly did not. An opportunity to establish a connection with the moto community wasted....almost deliberately so.

How about how Rutledge is saying on Pulp how these guys not making the main need to be heard, meanwhile Pulp is the biggest source for those same riders being heard. The crux of it is don't show up to one of the largest media outlets in the sport, shit on the fans, then say everything the sport is doing wrong with your only reason being "But what if you're wrong."

I couldn't see why you guys were so upset by him (Still think some are overreacting haha) but yeah that was a hard listen cause I was trying very hard to give him the benefit of the doubt But yeah he's definitely a knob ache..
