Tonight we are racing Portland International Raceway's Thursday Night Motocross, the 55th anniversary Pro event. Usually a huge event and I think even more so this year. Expect to see quite a few pros in town for the Washougal Nationals trying to claim the holeshot and win $$$. $15,000 purse so it can be a $5k night if you are on it. Local boy Tommy Weecks will likely be there and has been known to kick some ass at this event. I'll have Mayson (#815 CRF150)with me so stop by and say hello. Yesterday was a practice day at Albany MX. Some booters out there for sure! We planned to race the PacWest round there today but my boy got hurt at Washougal last weekend so we are taking today off. Thursday we will be racing Pro Night at PIR, and Saturday we are going to the Washougal Nationals! Mayson has gotten a LOT of seat time these last 2 weeks. Hammer 663s

Did I tell you about Mayson’s race at Sac Raceway last week(85 beg)? Here’s the text exchange: Mayson: 5th. (literally,that’s all he texted) Me: more than 5 riders? Mayson: 22 Me: Wow! ...he pulled down top 3 starts both motos also. 👍

Mayson changed the oil / filter and installed the wheels. I did help with a new goggle lens. Ready for the weekend!

Absolutely. The fact Mayson took the time to come on here and say thank you is tremendous. That's character. One day he'll have the opportunity to do something for someone else, and he'll remember why. Pay it forward. That's all we can do for the next generation. Lead by example; this thread and all who helped are the epitome of that.

Those look sweet!!!! Yeah Ted really took this ball and ran with it. I appreciate all he has done. I’m too far away to help out. We still plan to get Mayson and his bike up here this summer and we will be heading that way for Hangtown for a special weekend. That will wrap up this thread, although the journey will continue for Mayson long after I am gone. And he will remember. In the end that’s all we leave behind Hammer 663s
