Because “gaining an advantage” is defined as gaining a position or gaining time from the point you exited the track. He did neither. He left the track in 2nd about a second back and reentered in the same position/time back. Listen, I don’t like the rule either but it was followed.

I'm tired of hearing how good Kenny once was. Did he not just win the overall? Maybe Eli has more "raw" speed but who was on top of the box today. I'll take smooth and consistent over fast and sketchy every time. I love me some Tomac but Kroc is cooler than the other side of the pillow. Nice race Kenny.

How can you say that? When they were both healthy Tomac usually came out on top. It was that way in 250s and 450s. Before he got hurt in 2015 Tomac was dusting Roczen outdoors.

You do realize that they are racing for a championship and are trying to get every point possible?? People put way too much value on overall wins. AC won the overall today but he didn't gain anything on Cooper, so it makes no difference in the grand scheme of things.

Im not sure if Kenny will ever be as good as he was in 2016, just to much damage has been done, not saying he still cant be competitive, but such traumatic injury to both arms, how could they ever be the same again?
