When people ask me WHEN was the best day of racing I ever witnessed, it was definitely this day. All four moto’s were vicious, as savages RC and KDub slugged it out, 2 st vs 4 and, Mike Brown Vs Ryno on the 125’s…. And, the reason I bring it up now, is that my buddy Jerid ( he’s a plumber, he plumbs) finally gave in and permitted me to show these previously unseen images from that day, more to follow. Here's what I tell my athletes about the holidays: a few days off won't kill your fitness. A week off won't either. And for a lot of riders who've been grinding all year, they actually need it. They've been chronically overreaching and don't even know it. They'll come back feeling better than they have in months. What actually wrecks your training: forcing workouts when you're traveling, skipping family stuff to hit the gym, turning fitness into another holiday stressor. That kills motivation. And motivation is what gets you through the off-season and into spring motos. Enjoy the holidays. Train when...
