8/6/2019 2:45pm The high cost of the sport in the amateur side , is weeding out a lot of the talent in the pro ranks , that used to come from the middle class income families . The middle class kids can’t afford to race anymore . We are now seeing the talent in the pro ranks , coming from only the upper income kids , because they are the only ones who are in the sport . It’s just numbers , law of averages . Talent can come from any economic class , and talent rises to the top in any...

8/6/2019 2:25pm It was our first time. Weather was awesome, track was gnarly!! We trained for several weeks in advance and as much as school would allow throughout the year but I feel like as a "privateer" who attends "normal school," we don't have a chance (to make it into top 10 at LL) Even some of the super fast kids we race with, who win regionals had a hard time making it there. I'm not deterred whatsoever. This sport has given us so many memories and time together....and we're not here for a participation trophy nor do we think our son...

6/26/2019 7:05am First glance , its decent enough, simple design, doesnt look like a dogs dinner, which a lot of stuff has started to do, just dont lose sight of the fact that it is primarily protective clothing for when you fall off... some new stuff is like stretch fit Pyjamas.

mxpracing Started a new thread British Motocross Race Wear
6/26/2019 5:47am Hey all. I just wanted to get your opinion on a little something I've been working on recently. As we all know, almost all motocross race wear brands are US based/owner. Given motocross was born in the UK, I felt it necessary to create a British Motocross race wear brand that has ambitions great enough to challenge the sport's leaders...

6/26/2019 5:19am @MODS: I apologise in advance if this is not allowed. Hey guys, I hope you're all well! After the incredible response from you all back in February, we have been on a long but unsuccessful road towards raising funding for MXP Racing and the launch of our motocross kit brand. It's at this juncture that we felt it fitting to...

3/4/2019 2:06pm We went and did a practice day at woodland WA today and a buddy of ours ended up breaking his femur right above the knee. Eric is a fast NW vet rider out here and a lot of guy's know him , quite a few on here I think. I've known and raced with Eric a long time , and he's a good dude. Just picked up 19' Husky TC250 freshie , and today was his first ride on it. He's in the hospital now , but visits Vital quite a bit , so if you guy's have a minute...

2/24/2019 2:14pm The “old man” looked pretty damned amazing tonight. Matter of fact, the whoops reportedly got worse as the night progressed...and as they got worse, Reed got faster going through them! Gotta love it. Third OA is nothing to sneeze at.

2/24/2019 2:11pm I remember reading an interview with the 'then' KTM MXGP team manager- MIGHT have been Kurt Nicoll, but I can't be sure. He said that if the team changed one compression click on Peter Johanssen's bike he'd do one lap and pull in, saying something wasn't right with the bike, whereas you could change the rear shock to an iron rod on Grant Langston's 125SX and he'd go out there and ride at the same speed.

2/24/2019 2:09pm Yeah but now it’s not just the rider saying what’s up - the teams are looking at your data and muddling it up by making their own suggestions. “I see you were only 1/3 open on the throttle here when last lap you were at 1/2open. Do you know why? Let’s drop the sag and see what happens.”

2/24/2019 2:09pm Props to RC for being able to ride any bike with any setting and get it figured out in a few laps. Guys these days have one minor setting feel “off” and it’s ruins them. RC...... Cheers to you man!
