Since this could go on forever, I will just say that I choose to wear one because I'm taking a chance that it works, and you choose not to because you're taking a chance that it doesn't. Thanks for the debate.

Is a lack of data the only reason people don't wear them? That's the only one so far.. I'd like to hear others. All I know is that I'd rather have all the protection I can, whether it's as affective as they claim or not. More data would be nice, but I know too many riders in wheelchairs to take...

It shows the concept. I know it doesn't "lay out an actual, real-world set of data surrounding injuries, severity".. In my original post, I was asking for that kind of data.. but all we have are examples of crashes.. so as for me, I'm going to take their word for it, along with the actual testing, and wear one.

scott- Until this weekend, I hadn't paid this close attention to who had and hadn't been wearing them, so I didn't noticed that those guys had stopped. That's interesting. WORCS- thanks for making the point that I was about to make!

Budds Creek is an awesome national.. You can see most of the track from pretty much wherever you are.. Camping is fun, and a lot of people stay in tents, but sometimes it gets rowdy on Saturday nights..maybe not sure if there would still be any hotels available.. Hope you have fun if you go!!!!

I can't believe you guys could say that Leticia isn't gorgeous.. no matter what her ass looks like.. LoL.. She has been doing more mainstream things lately like the show on the CW.. So that's probably why she hasn't been at the races.. Erin is absolutely gorgeous, and she rides too!
