Team Atomic's Paul Carpenter wrapped up the Top Privateer award for 2008

Top privateer honors and 10th overall in the series went to Paul Carpenter with a 12th overall finish in tonight’s race.

Good job by Carpenter. The whole privateer thing seems a bit fuzzy at times but he certainly qualifies as one. Hope he'll get a ride on one of the teams after this.

After the press conference, I stopped by Paul's trailer to try and talk with him, but he and the team had already packed up and headed to the hotel. I'll catch up with him later this week.
