I’ll admit I’m biased but I still think Yamaha makes the most reliable bikes. Honda is right there as well. I’d trust my life (actually do sometimes) with any Yamaha or Honda vehicles. I dont think you hear as many complaints on forums about them since the owners are probably out riding. In my experience, a large percentage of Yamaha owners are older, well off financially and pay cash for their toys more often. They are also like me and more brand loyal. Honda gave him the bikes and he didn't lose his Suzuki deal either, just chose a different route and what Honda put together for him is gonna work well with his future goals.

Nothing new, first thing anyone serious does when buying a new bike is re-greasing the parts.

Ah the deployment money Where’d you go? My vote would be the Yamaha but that’s just my preference based on sitting on the new bikes, so I really have zero valuable input. The mapping technology is a selling point for me too

Viewing areas totally depend you setup, willingness to walk and what you’re interested in seeing. I’ve always been traveling light and interested in seeing a lot of different sections so I would always walk to different areas throughout the day. But hard to go wrong on most parts of the hill. And definitely stand near the first turn below the uphill for at least one 450 Moto start. The power and speed that goes by is crazy.
