Because either way he's not gaining an advantage over the 250f's and it's a waste of time. It's like cops pulling someone over for going 2 mph over the speed limit. Technically it's breaking the rules but so minor as to be pointless.

Man, can I get a refund? This means there will be no Dungey, Reed, Windham, Canard, or Stewart. I care least about Stewart being there out of those but it's still shitty that there are so many top riders out of the only race I get to go to this year.

2 stroke has more power per cc, a narrower power band, more abrupt. 4 stroke is easier to ride.

Exactly, and even a points or dq penalty wouldn't be even in either situation. Take 25 from Barcia and he's barely leading a series he just about had wrapped up. Take 25 from Vincent and it doesn't make a bit of difference as far as I know.

Perhaps it should be in line with his income so 5k is a drop in the bucket. Seems like a fair fine to me for a first offense in AMA racing. The next should be quite a bit more substantial.

You have to show your night ticket to get into practice during the day but there's no additional charge. It will likely be only a small section of the 1st level of seats open for practice.
