Do we really need a TMZ of Motocross?

I get so tired of hearing about the train wrecks of Lindsey Lohan, Perris Hilton, etc. Now it is haunting the sport of motocross. Can't we just accept the fact that many of these very talented riders have issues in their personal lives that are not all that uncommon from the rest of us "ordinary folk"?

So let's put 2 threads about it on the first page of the largest motocross forum. That's a sure way to make it go away. Quit bitching about it and ignore it. It doesn't affect you either way.

I don't get the TMZ comparison. The only thing close to TMZ I ever recall was the deal about Hansen not getting cut up in a BMX crash.

From my time checking out that site it is mostly quad riders getting made fun of, rating the fan of the week, the great breakdown of the dumb stuff that gets said during the SX TV broadcasts, and other random mx videos.

I have seen way more personal mud slinging about riders take place right here.

This whole thing reminds me of the time I found out That Larry The Cable Guy was just an act and that he really doesn't have a southern accent.

That and the girl who got kicked out of the Miss Universe pagent for well, not being a girl.

Hadn't been there is a long time prior to the TA fiasco. I was just struck by the google results with a self proclaimed tagline of "basically the TMZ of ....." I have a very vague recolection of something about riders girlfriends being a topic of discussion for awhile. Rest of the stuff you mentioned probably doesn't fit the TMS category. I hope it doesn't develop into that, that is my point.
