Hey everyone!

Can someone please tell me how the pitparty and all that stuff works?
Is there general program?
As i was ranting about in an earlier topic im bringing the family in for the the day, meaning the pitparty and the practice etc.
Im going to see the night event with a couple of friends, I really dont think my 3-year-old wont make it past the opening ceremonies.

So really, what im asking for is a estemated opening time for the pits and about what time the practices start, also how much is watching all this gonna cost? Still the free entry if I bring a empty Monster can?

Thanks in advance!

And yes, im from Sweden and so therefore my English might be a wee bit like cairolis KTM @ des nations.

PIT PASS
Don't miss your chance to meet the riders and get autographs at the Party in the Pits from 12:30PM-6:00PM. Just recycle any empty Monster Energy can at the Pit Entrance for your free admission to the Party in the Pits with a valid Saturday, March 31, 2012 event ticket.
Pit Passes will also be available to purchase for $10 the day of the show at the Reliant Stadium Box Office

Houston SX is a fun event...good choice!

We usually get there around 12:30, watch practice until the end of the first qualifying session at 2:30, go to the pits (all you need to get into the pits is an empty Monster drink can), hang around there until around 4:00, get on the light rail and go downtown for dinner, get back to the stadium in time get get in our seats by 6:45 and let 'er rip. Races are over around 10:30. We usually don't watch the second timed practice because then you kind of get stuck eating dinner at the stadium, and we like to get away for a while. Plus, it's a family tradition for us.

I'm not sure about ticket prices, but ours are usually around $40 each. Kids are cheaper. Try supercrossonline.raceday for more info.

If you're at the stadium and want to go to the pits, go out the southwest gate, get your hand stamped or ticket validated, go across the walk-over bridge and you'll see the pits right there.

Practice and pits are real fun, but if you have very little kids, that makes for a long day. We've come only for the night program, getting to the stadium in time to get inside at 6:45, and had a lot of fun. For small kids, hearing protection is a good idea, even during opening ceremonies - they have lots of pyrotechnics (which I hate) and it's very loud. The bikes used to be ridiculously loud but they're not quite as bad any more, but there's still a lot of noise. Soft ear plugs are a good idea IMO.

Hope you have a great time.

There will be a line at the gate for practice at around 12. I watched all of the practices last time but by the time I went into the pits pretty much everyone was inside their rigs/campers etc.

Don't forget to buy a cowboy hat so you don't stick out like a sore thumb.

You have to show your night ticket to get into practice during the day but there's no additional charge. It will likely be only a small section of the 1st level of seats open for practice.

Spot on. Getting out of the stadium and grabbing a decent meal is huge.
