Just going through the bike now and replacing every bearing, race, seal, etc. 30 some years of neglect has nowhere to hide now. But boy is it in your face every place you look here..jeez.. Just some plastic work I did on the tank thus far. You can see the difference in the front fender vs the tank now/ ...

Call me crazy, but I don't think it is toooooo steep. Talking rough numbers here-- The bike by itself in rough shape will still run you $3,000-ish. To break the bike down and have that work, (w/NOS, OEM) done to it plus the powder coat/paint vapor hone, plastics, seat cover,whatever...add another 3-4grand to it. You're looking at at least totaling...
A modern built CR500 with new chassis, new suspension and an adjustable ECU would be ridiculously good. Add traction control and its a world beater.

Absolutely true, but it doesn't change the corporate thinking. Profit over everything and there's no such thing as enough profit. If you stand up in a corporate meeting and point this out you're not "a team player" and you're "not on board with the program".

Looks like he's got some speed... But for me, the thing that made that a "kids these days" was the music. I prefer the sound of that 2T singing... That's the only music that should have been in that video. Wink
