I posted this in the comments already but throwing it out in this thread too... In the photo of Sexton's bike, isn't the yellow dot on the Dunlop rear tire supposed to be on the drive side of the bike? Are they running the tire backwards?

Sueing a track because you feel it wasn't staffed good enough, but chose to let your kid ride/race? Just seems off to me. This isn't gross negligence like a tractor on the track. I constantly don't let my kids ride at tracks or at ohv areas if I feel something isn't safe or up to par with the risk I am willing to take with their safety. I've pulled them off multiple times over the last year. This is a catastrophic event. I couldn't even imagine. But I'd like to think I wouldn't sue the people trying to provide the...

Bye Bye Mammoth MX bummer. Too bad the track liability release forms we sign aren't an actual liability release. Why even bother. Rip Aidan, prayers sent to the family. And FUCK the lawyers and whoever else stands to profit from this.

Was he wearing one of the soft "Under Protectors"? Didn't the AMA just release a new rule saying amateur riders cant wear those and they have to wear the hard plastic type chest protectors?

Beta, TM, Fantic, Ducati... now Vertemati! Launching MX and Enduro bikes for 2026. Likely release at the EICMA show in November this year. And yes, they will be gorgeous 😍.

Ive thought about doing this at MotoVentures in SoCal. We are across the street from Cahuilla Creek MX and could get lots of vendors, sponsors, test rides, etc. Just need some help promoting the event

Hips Hinged? What does that mean exactly? And, how is hips back weighting the front end?

No. Moving around on the footpegs leads to more movement. Right? Between the balls and the arches; toes in and toes out, as needed. I ride with my toes out a little, and toes in as needed (to shift or brake). Probably counter to most "moto' instructors (toes in ALL THE TIME). Also, get good at weighting the footpegs/ loading...

Body positioning varies, and no ONE position ALL THE TIME. It depends: attack vs energy conserving. Not all riders can ATTACK all the time. Line selection is HUGE. If you're off by an inch, could be the difference between crashing or not, or at least save you time on the track. Some of these "instructors" don't know what they're talking...

A lot of these "instructors" today seem hyperfocused (to a fault imo) on body positioning and riding style. I would be kind of pissed if I went to a school and all I got was "just mimic what Jett and Chase are doing". Yeah, no shit. Not only that, but not everyone has the right body type to ride the Jett/Chase way. My T-Rex arms wouldn't allow me to reach the bars if I tried to ride as far back as those guys. It's not hopeless for short guys (Wardy/RC/JMart etc.) but the cat definitely has to be skinned a...

What about riding a bike slow? Which is harder to do? Speed is a stabilizer Hips back? What about weighting the front end? Is there one position ALL THE TIME? Maybe in deadlifts or pushups
