Steve has asked on the show why we embed other media sites content. YouTube has an embed feature you can enable, which allows your videos to be shared or posted elsewhere. When we embed them into our site, the YouTube ads that play pay the original owner of the content, and the views get counted toward their video. For example, he's asked me why I've shared Dean Wilson vlogs. Typically, Dean asks us to. Same with McElrath and Moranz. We post them in embed, the views count towards their youtube page, they get more exposure and a few extra bucks...

As of recently, he's used some of our content (race footage and practice footage from SMX my staff shot) on his social media. Using it to break down techniques, promote himself, etc. Hit him up about it asking where to send invoices if he's going to keep using our content...he refuses to take it down and is still running with it.

For the Charlotte and Chicago rounds of SuperMotocross, we decided to do some video comparison features. Lots of slo-mo and side-by-side comparisons of how the top riders hit certain sections. Both are up on the homepage (once a day is all we ask) but they're also embedded in here. Thoughts?

I don’t see how there any more potential head on collisions with a wall vs. a typical SX or AX track the outer walls, a tunnel/flagging tower, etc. all the fast sections are running parallel with the barriers.

Well I completely disagree. I think if you’re coming out a corner in first gear going over one of the barriers is a bit different than crossing over a barrier mid rhythm section in 3rd. I’m sorry but I’m failing to see what’s inherently more dangerous on this vs. any other SX track.

Most ppl got the impression that they were going to reveal the bike today, so they under delivered. Being disappointed with their wet fart roll out does not equal ppl wanting to see them fail… at all. In fact the reason its so disappointing is because ppl were so excited to see it.
