He did ride the bike back the pits after the press day crash so not really sure if it was a bike malfunction. Idk, but looked very similar to a mistake I made once stalling the bike over the big table at WW ranch.

It doesn't seem kawi believes there was a bike malfunction. They stated the facts they have. Which is it was a crash during practice. It seems the bike malfunction is still at least somewhat speculative. 🤷♀️

I just talked to my dealer and it’s only 4 per dealer they found out today I’m lucky I was the 2nd one to put deposit down . Going be some unhappy people getting money back . I think kawi didn’t expect this high of a demand for the bike

The ambassadors are the first to get the bike. Somewhere said around September with the bike being available in October. I watched a ton of videos so can’t recall which one said it or how reliable it is. From the rumor mill it sounds like rv2 will be the first and it will be some sort of sick video.

Well in my defense it's obvious a LOT of the younger generation of riders did not realize Suzuki DOMINATED the Motocross World at one time. Just saying.......so if it seems like I am boring you, you can go back and engage the Rutledge Wood thread.

I find stats interesting, and I’m an unashamed Hunter fan, so thought this was awesome and hard to believe that after so many legends, that it’s a first. I rode one as well and had a similar thought, I ride a 300XC. Its a cool bike but the TBI KTMs are just on another level still, smoother and just feels like you can use the power throughout the rev range easier. I do like the Betas though the only complaint I have is I always run a bit taller seat and the skinny seat on the Beta looks terrible with a tall seat it has to stick up on both ends.

6/17/2026 9:28pm Ive had 2 300 rx's, 3 betas total. Currently on a 300sx. To be honest, the beta frame/handling felt better out of the box. Other than that, i wont be going back until they get fuel injection on the 2t. Ktm has it dialed. I ride from 0-10000' and having to dick with the carb one weekend to the next...
