6/19/2026 4:53am Well let’s let big bore two strokes compete against the 450. As you claim the four stroke technology has caught up. They were allowed the displacement advantage only to overcome their lack of competitiveness. 250 two stroke against 250Fs. Level the playing the field and the tractors lose.

6/5/2026 10:14am It would be easy for Suzuki to do this. I built my own and it really wasn't all that hard. The 250z chassis handles fantastic with a RM250 engine in it.

6/5/2026 10:10am I twisted the absolute shit out of the throttle yesterday evening on my 150SX.Buddy bought a 2017 TC125 and i took it for a test ride. I had so much fun that took my 250SX straight back in the garage and grabbed the 150 to turn some laps. I was feeling really dialed in yesterday for some reason. That thing will rail some shit when you leave it pinned!! No more 4 strokes in my lifetime. Selling my YZ250F and going back to 2T's was the way for me.

6/5/2026 10:07am Hype? 2 Strokes are WAY more fun to ride and own than the complicated overweight valve-munching tractors. 99.99% of riders own a dirt bike to have FUN. Are you really gonna change the world with a local-yocal plastic trophy for the garage wall, or do you wanna meet your homies at the track and have a blast on the weekend? You get way more smiles per lap on a smoker than any 4stroke ever made. Carmichael, Fro, McGrath, Bubba, TP199 they will all tell you nothing beats wringing out a two-smoke.

5/25/2026 8:52pm Sorry, Jett is a beast, but he is no RC. I friend who worked for team Yamaha told me this story. He said after Friday practice(the classes had a combined open practice back then) at GH in 1997, Doug Henry came back to the truck and all he could talk about was that "Carmicheal kid" blowing by him coming down Mt. St. Helen. And how who couldn't believe anyone could send it that hard and no way would he could survive a complete outdoor season etc.. The bottom line, RC had one prime directive- GOAT or death. And he made...

5/25/2026 8:52pm IMO it’s already over for Jett to match RC in MX. Reason being is if so Jett would need to retire in 2 years after winning 10 straight championships like RC did.

5/25/2026 8:52pm I hate these comparisons. Jett is insanely smooth, calculated, effortless looking style, mega creative. RC was a no quit, gritty, max stamina, gonna twist it till it broke and hold on, the most pure definition of a dog in the sports history. Reading those two sentences, who would make the most sense to have missed more seasons from injury? Rc? But it’s Jett. And Jett has competed in less premier class seasons to date. The reason these guys get hurt range from a multitude of factors. But it’s been the same way throughout history, just different narratives. Also. Jett gets...

5/25/2026 8:48pm I think it’s to early to mention , Jett is already behind RC on a stat that can never be changed….. RC never lost an outdoor title in either class Jett has already lost one outdoor title. It’s early in terms of whether Jett can equal or pass RC in wins or titles. But it’s a fun conversation to have and play with the stats. One of your RC stats is wrong though. RC didn’t have 3 perfect seasons. He had 2 perfect seasons and one undefeated overall season.

5/25/2026 8:48pm From his 125 debut, until his retirement, how many races did RC miss? Thats a relevant statistic, it speaks to a riders consistency and durability. Jett isn’t anywhere near RC, and probably won’t ever be close with all the races he misses.

5/25/2026 8:47pm There’s a recent trend of guys clinging to Jett’s win percentages and migrating away from raw stats/records. The lesson here—never preemptively crown goats. While RC’s goat status is bolstered by his win percentages, it has very little to do with them and it has everything to do with his raw numbers accumulated over consecutive years. RC was only 26 during his last full season as a pro. The amount of championships and wins that he put up by that point is unthinkable.

5/25/2026 8:47pm Ah dang! Which one did I miss? Do you know which one Ringo? My old age is catching up to me! Btw, in my opinion and fact RC is undoubtedly the GOAT. Someone had posted in another thread about Jett's win percentage making an argument and I went down the rabbit hole. I made the thread so people can understand the sustained dominance that RC had. Jett is a phenomenal talent for sure but I don't think he nor anyone else is going to ever get close to Carmichael.

5/25/2026 8:46pm Windham was a rider in the 90’s like Jett is today. Beautiful to watch, in control, a thinking man’s racer. How did he do against RC ? NOBODY had the determination he did, many guys more beautiful to watch flowing over a track, and that list includes Jett, but 90% of the time Ricky was cashing the checks !

5/25/2026 8:46pm If anyone wants to be in the same discussion as RC, they need to get close to this: 7 time AMA MX Champion (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006) 5 time AMA Supercross Champion (2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006) 3 time AMA 125 Champion (1997, 1998, 1999) 2 perfect 24-0 seasons (2002, 2004) 15 AMA titles (all -time record) 150 AMA wins (all-time record) Never lost an outdoor title he fully competed in.
